101 Industries is skilled in all facets of mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel fabrication and welding. Our shop and the welders that we employ are certified to CWB W47.1 and 47.2 for steel and aluminum welding.

The fabrication facility is over 4000 sq feet in size and equipment with:

• 10 ton overhead crane
• 175 ton x 10 foot press brake
• 65 ton iron worker punch and shear
• 24” wide steel band saw with in-feed and out-feed roller tables
• 120 ton plate shear for ¼” MS over 10 feet
• 6 foot radial arm drill press
• 6 foot plate rolls suitable for ¼” at 6” minimum diameter
• multiple welding stations to efficiently complete MIG, Stick, or Tig work
• multiple plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting systems

Safety of our crews is a core value at 101 Industries. We ensure worker safety by training our crews on material handling and safe crane operation. As well, we have multiple fume extraction stations to provide the cleanest environment possible. The shop is also fitting with central exhaust and passive make up air.

In addition to traditional structural steel fabrication, we also employ tradesmen skilled in custom fabrication. Some of our custom projects include stainless steel hoods and counters for the commercial kitchen market and aluminum fabrications for the boat industry. We also fabricate and supply architectural products such as entrance canopies.

Of course the fabrication department is supported by the other departments that 101 Industries offers. When the job requires pressure piping, heavy rigging, sheetmetal flashings & cladding, ventilation systems, or roofing we have the skilled people to offer the proper service in these areas. All of our departments are staffed with ticketed journeymen with BC trades qualifications. Having the right person for the job is the basis of our motto "Quality through Craftsmanship".
