101 Industries offers skilled services in all facets of process piping and plumbing. We continually operate both industrial piping and commercial piping crews servicing the uniquely different marketplaces.
Safety of our crews is a core value at 101 Industries. We ensure worker safety by implementing tried and true lock out procedures when working on active systems. To ensure these procedures are suitable we establish a written job specific safe work procedure that details the safety concerns of that particular project. This includes not only lock out but also fall protection, material handling, rigging, hot work, confined space and site control. Once the plan is designed, all members of the crew are brought together and a pre start meeting is held. At 101 Industries we insist all managers, supervisors, and workers take an active roll in safety, personal protection and environmental protection.
Our Industrial Piping crews include journeymen fitters and welders experienced and certified for multitudes of GMAW, SMAW and GTAW processes. We are regularly involved in stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum piping projects, many of which involve 100% X-ray work. We are also experienced in procedures specific to the petrochemical industry such as inconel welding.

Our industrial work is done to ASME standards and we hold a Class “A” Boiler contractor license registered with the BC Boilers branch.
The fabrication shop is fully equipped with S.M.A.W., G.T.A.W., G.M.A.W., F.C.A.W, and aluminum welding equipment. We cut steel by flame, plasma, abrasive, or blade. As well, we have forklifts, overhead crane, and vertical band saw to assist the fitters in their shop work.

The Commercial Piping crews are regularly involved in process water systems, plumbing, drainage, venting, and sprinkler systems. The work performed by these crews exceeds minimum local code requirements and are accomplished by plumbers holding BC Trades Qualification tickets.
101 Industries is capable of working with steel, PVC, copper, fiberglass, clay and asbestos piping systems. We are also able to complete the piping with techniques in soldering, gluing, grooving, or mechanical joining.
101 Industries is also a bonded gas contractor with licensed gas fitters on staff. We install new systems as well as service and upgrade existing systems.

To ensure our crews are safe and efficient we have a fleet of fully stocked welding rigs and service vans. The rigs have gas powered welding machines, oxy/acet torches, rigging gear, and pipe fitting hand tools. The service vans have threading machines, soldering equipment, and other trade specific tools.
Of course the process piping department is supported by the other departments that 101 Industries offers. When the job requires new roof penetrations, shop fabrications, cladding work, structural upgrades, or HVAC modifications we have the skilled people to offer the proper service in these areas. All of our departments are staffed with ticketed journeymen with BC trades qualifications. Having the right person for the job is the basis of our motto "Quality through Craftsmanship".
